The inhabitants lived in constant fear, as the intentions of these colossal beings remained shrouded in mystery.
Amidst this turmoil, certain individuals — later known as the priests,
Discovered the ability to control the titans.
Initially, they used this power to safeguard their civilizations, attaining positions of immense influence. With the titans' aid, they constructed monumental structures, fostering thriving high cultures. However, many priests succumbed to corruption, abusing their powers to tyrannize their own people and wage wars against other civilizations.
In response to the priests' control, a faction dedicated themselves to developing new technologies.
They created mechanical automatons
with the intention of overthrowing the oppressive rule of the priests, restoring balance to DUSK.
